The Management Team

The Management Team of Progenics Corp Limited is made up of seasoned professionals who have a wide range of experience in the information technology world. They have all been involved at one time or the other in handling large software development projects for various institutions from the design through development and the eventual implementation and support stages.They all have extensive application design experience using several programming languages and development / reporting tools, and have all headed implementation teams for application software implemented in a number of banks and other financial and corporate institutions both within and outside Nigeria. All members of the management team have worked extensively with the ORACLE relational database and other related products.

Anthony Thomas Udoh - Managing Director/C.E.O
Anthony Udoh is a graduate of data processing management (London) with over twenty years experience in analysis, design, development, implementation and support.

He had over six years programming, installation and support experience with a computer software development house with direct involvement with the Federal Office of Statistics as well as the installation and support of computer software projects with the University of Benin.

He headed the software development unit of one of the major software development houses in this country, with a departmental strength of over thirty programmers, and co-ordinated the design and development of a major ORACLE based banking application, which was eventually exported to several countries outside Nigeria.

He also supervised and managed the development of a banking system in the United States of America in conjunction with AT&T Global Information Systems (Now NCR), where he developed several new approaches to application design and development using multi tier architectures. He is happily married with children.

Chiedu Okeleke - ED Application Development
Chiedu Okeleke has a B.Sc. and a Masters in Electronics Engineering with over thirteen years experience in wide area networks design and implementation and support as well as applications software design and development.

He spent two years as an engineering systems maintenance officer and project management officer in a major corporation with emphasis on instrumentation and telecommunications.

He also has over twelve years of applications software analysis, design, development, implementation and support experience with a renowned software house in the country, responsible for the design, development and support of software application packages using the world leader in relational database management systems namely – ORACLE. He has worked with the ORACLE database and associated tools since version 5 of the product.

He has spent several years as a development and implementation consultant in the management of banking and other commercial systems. And has worked on software development and implementation teams, with emphasis on banking and financial systems, in various countries including Nigeria, Germany, Slovakia, Jamaica, Ghana and Benin Republic.

Robert Geri - ED Professional Services
Robert Geri has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and has over thirteen years experience in computer software design, development, implementation and support.

He was a core member of a software development house that designed and implemented a banking application here in Nigeria. He was also head of the team that successfully implemented that same banking application in several sites in Ghana.

He has worked extensively with ORACLE tools and databases for several years and has followed the development of ORACLE products since they became popular in Nigeria in the early 90’s. He also has experience using a wide range of application design and development tools including Oracle’s Designer and Developer product lines as well as design tools produced by Sybase (Power Designer).

He has been directly responsible for the design and development of several of the application systems developed by Progenics. He is happily married.

Obafemi Akintoye - ED Business Development
Obafemi Akintoye has a B.Sc. in Computer science and has developed applications using various development tools and databases for over eleven years. He has worked extensively on banking and financial applications in that time. He is currently a member of the applications design team and has also been project manager for the design and development of several modules of the Corpbank and Progen Financials Application Systems.

He is highly proficient in the administration and development of applications using ORACLE tools and databases. He also handles the 3GL applications unit, which involves software development using Borland Delphi, C++, Java and several other scripting languages for web application and dynamic web site development as well as for more specialised software tasks that might not have been possible with several other languages. These include interfaces to applications using voice and Internet technology.

Mr. Akintoye has also co-ordinated the planning and implementation of several network environments and has designed and implemented several network security policies on several sites. He was a member of a team that successfully implemented a banking solution in several sites in Nigeria and was a consultant in the team that developed and implemented a banking solution in the Republic of Benin. He is happily married.
