Progenics Corp Limited was incorporated
in 1996 as a company dedicated to providing total
systems solutions to our clients.
In this period of time we have grown to become
one of the most innovative and consistent software
development companies in Nigerian.
Our software solutions are installed in over
70 locations stretching across every region
in Nigeria and new sites are coming up. These
applications are found in several sectors of the
economy especially those that are known to drive
the Nigerian economy, namely the Banking and Oil-Services
sectors our software systems are also found in
Government establishments. These applications
have been tried and tested and have been in use
for several years. Constant development of these
applications to meet current and future trends
in information technology continues.
The company has it headquarters on Toyin Street Ikeja,
a quiet suburb of the commercial city of Lagos,
in Nigeria, where all the research, design and
development of our wide range of applications
take place. Several new applications and additions
to existing ones are currently in different stages
of development. We currently employ over 40 skilled
staff, many of whom have worked with the tools
and platforms we use for many years. these platforms
include Oracle databases, Microsoft Operating
Systems, Borland and Macromedia development tools
among others. A number of our staff have worked
with Oracle tools and databases since 1991 when
ORACLE 5.0 and SQL*FORMS 2.3 were the leading
database management tools. Today Oracle is still
the database of choice for our core financial
applications.
We are a core software development company committed to building
internationally software applications of international standard. We
have developed several applications already implemented and in use in
several sites across Nigeria. Especially our flagship product Symbols:
Investment & Stockbroking solution, others are Govac and Symbols:
Financial. Our applications have proven efficient and reliable in all
our client sites where they provide management staff with reliable
up-to-date information to support quick decision making as well as
support for all their transaction processing requirements.
